Solar for pharma & chemicals.
Pharmaceutical, API and speciality chemical plants — continuous process load in validated, tightly controlled environments.
Does rooftop solar work for pharma and chemicals?
Yes, and the modelling is unusually reliable because process load is high, continuous and flat. The difficulty is not electrical but procedural — validated environments, roof penetrations near cleanroom envelopes, contamination control during installation, and documentation for audit. Plan the work around shutdowns.
Process industry load is high, continuous and comparatively flat. Cleanroom HVAC, chillers, compressed air and utilities dominate, and they run to a schedule set by production, not daylight. The daytime share is large enough that rooftop solar can serve a meaningful slice of it, and the flatness makes the modelling unusually reliable — there is less guesswork than in a facility with erratic demand.
The parts specific to this kind of site.
Validated environments do not tolerate improvisation. Roof penetrations near cleanroom envelopes, differential-pressure impacts, contamination control during installation and documentation for audit all shape the design. Classified areas and solvent-handling zones carry their own clearance rules. This is engineering-led work, and the paperwork is part of the job.
Where this lands.
Strong, with the caveat that programme discipline matters more than in any other segment we serve. Plan around shutdowns.

We'll tell you what a site study would look at for a facility like yours — including if the answer is 'not yet'.
